Well, today the baby is 8 weeks! Only 32 to go!
Well, the symptoms are in full force. I hate the fact they are called "symptoms" as though pregnancy was an illness. I'm told the second trimester is more fun with less in the way of the inconvenient "symptoms."
I think the next post will have the sonogram picture!

(In Star Wars Mode) A New Hope!
Well, I'm not a big blogger. James usually does more when it comes to posting on blogs than I do. But since it is our webpage, I guess I can't mess up.
This website, if you haven't guessed from the title, is about our first pregnancy. Since we both have friends and family spread all over the place, this seemed like a good way of updating for whomever has web access at their convenience. We will try to post regularly and apologize in advance for any typos (I'm notoriously bad with spelling).
Well, let's see. The first positive Home Pregnancy Test was on the Universal Feast of Corpus Christi, May 26, 2005. The positive blood test results we got on the Feast of the Visitation, May 31, 2005. I've seen the doctor once and my bloodwork was "great." We are scheduled for our first sonogram on July 11, 2005, ironically enough, the Feast of St. Benedict. I don't have the official Estimated Due Date yet, but as soon as I do, I'll post it.
Saltines are currently my best friends, but pastas, milk, and Taco Bell are also much appreciated. Overall I don't feel bad. I do tend to get tired somewhat easily, but that is why God invented naps! I can get nauseaus but generally if I keep eating a little something when my stomach starts to act up (esp. in the morning - too many pills with water and no food = evil) so it hasn't been bad.
I guess that is all for now. Will update later. God Bless.
