17 Weeks!

Well, we saw the doctor yesterday. We heard the baby's heartbeat, which was in the 140s, and we went over all the test results, which were all good. Also, we have set up an appointment for our next sonogram which will be on September 6th! Hopefully the little one will cooperate and we can begin using the correct pronouns. So, God willing, in our next post we will be able to announce whether God has blessed us with a son or a daughter. And we should have a new picture!

Things have been a bit more stressful here as our dog, Biscuit, has taken a turn for the worst. The cancer has spread and about 50% of his abdomen is taken up by two massive tumors. The vet said he has only a few weeks left at most. He still has some pep in him though and is eating lunchmeats, so we are waiting and watching. It is a shame though...Biscuit would have loved to see the baby and I'm sure, as a toddler, the baby would have had a blast pulling on those floppy ears.
