Cecilia at 2 1/2 weeks!

Well, it is definitely been a busy 2 1/2 weeks. Cecilia began her few couple of days at home by giving her mom and dad a hard time eating but that quickly ceased, and she has been making up for it. Some nights she sleeps in 3 hour segments with feedings in between; other nights she manages to sleep for a 4 or 5 hour stretch. She had her 2 week checkup yesterday and looks healthy and weighed in at 7 lbs, 12 oz, so she made up what she lost after her birth and then some. She liked to be swaddled the first few days, but since then her legs have been so active, swaddling has become impossible! She also loves to throw her arms and hands around. Mommy can't wait until she realizes those hands are her own and how to control them so they can stop trying to get in the way during feedings. Cecilia also has a habit of putting at least one hand over her head while she sleeps, like a little ballerina.

In the past 2 1/2 weeks, Cecilia also had some visitors. She's been visited by three of her four grandparents, an uncle, a family friend, and the priest who will be baptizing her.
