First Steps!!!

You may recall Cecilia first crawled 6 months and 1 day after her birthday. Well, she took her first steps exactly 9 months after her birthday.

I was sitting in the middle of the living room talking to James who was near the kitchen. Cecilia was standing holding on to the sofa (pounding both hands on the top of the sofa is a favorite hobby of hers). I turned to look and she was walking towards me. She only took about 2 or 3 steps before falling. But I was so excited we started applauding her. She kept trying after that and this evening got as many as 6 consecuative steps without falling. I'm not sure who is more excited, her or us.

It blows my mind - 9 months ago she was born and today she is walking! Talk about growing up fast!
